Compliance officer

You have to oversee and manage both regulatory requirements and internal corporate policies within your organization. Moreover, you have to turn these compliance issues into an opportunity to improve the business performance of your organization.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Conducting enterprise compliance efforts, control assessments and appropriate internal policies
• Monitoring and staying current with local and global legislation and regulations
• Analyzing the impacts of regulations and legislation on the organization
• Demonstrating the required conformity level of the organization to the board and regulatory bodies
• Proactively responding to requests for information from regulations and standards bodies
• Creating a common understanding of compliance and ethics within the organization
